.... made me reflect on so much of my life!
We went camping 'down South', as we talk about going out of the city and driving 'down South' to a few coastal towns about 4 -5 hours drive from Perth.
A friend of ours owns a untouched property there and we decided to take little man camping and spend a long weekend there as well.

One of the most beautiful parts of Western Australia,
Margaret River and Augusta.
We had splendid weather while Perth was going through a heat wave that weekend, we drove around, walked around, cooked over open fire, swam in the cold ocean and just sat around sipping on hot coffee or
billy tea!

I destressed to much and just did not want to come back to the fake-ness and rush of city life. Arrgghhhh. Once we were back I looked at people in the shops and I felt I can see so many stressed unfriendly faces, fake this, fake that, fake nails, designer clothing, teens dressed to old for their age, crowds and screaming undissiplined kids! Rush rush rush!
I rather want to see the kids early morning in the surf, not caring if their hair dries unruly on their heads from the salt water, girls walking around with mates in their shorts, flip flops and T-shirts while eating dripping ice creams.
I ceriously said to hubby, "how can we make a living down South?"
We (well I) have grand plans, the teens will be finishing High school in 3 years, my degree should take 3 years and whola, we can move away from the city rush, the teens will be young adults then, can choose where they want to study, stay or work and have their very own driver's licences to come and chill out at home. (Yes 'down South' luckily do have a University campus and a colleage in a smaller city near by called
Bunbury). Sounds good?
I'm a country born and bred girl as many of you know by now and 10 years in the city feels like just enough I can handle.

I have such a blessed life, great healthy kids, great supportive husband and health!
